- Bigby Crows - crows that can take a stray feather and make it a part of themselves, like a crow will find a yellow finch feather he likes and will add it to his own chest and now it just grows there, it's his - this is considered very handsome by the crows
- Mutter Dragon - pronounced "mooter", after the German word for "mother" - genre: horror - a large skulking reptile that can lay eggs containing all sorts of one-off weird monsters - a town beset by all manner of strange beasts may be host to a mutter dragon - does not require a male dragon for this
- Level-Up Vampires - vampires that get more cool powers as they get older, and they get to literally choose their next power from, like, a tech tree - no one knows what the full tech tree is (if "full" even applies here), there are various partial records of what's been discovered so far
- Pocapios Dogs - named for a mangled version of the Italian "a little rain" - wild dogs that populate the Mediterranean Sea - they can control the buoyancy of water, keeping themselves afloat, raising fish to the surface, and drowning birds and mammals - they can combine their magical strength by forming a circle around the target, and can sink small boats - they live almost their whole life at sea
- Seasonal Werewolves - werewolves with somewhat different powers based on the time of year, or that are extra powerful or violent under the "blood moon" or "harvest moon"
- Carrion Birds - vulture-type birds that will build wreaths of sticks up in trees, formed into magical shapes, and it like...shoots lightning at animals that come into range - they aren't intelligent, they just evolved in a magical world
- a demon type - have broad chonky bodies - they each have a second mouth spanning the width of their belly, it doesn't eat or bite and rarely opens at all - the second mouth only opens to speak obscure prophecies, which the demons believe apply to themselves and they take very seriously
- Types of Fae or Demons - names for categories of fantasy peoples: Banic (ba-nick), Illup (eye-lup), Lovenale (low-ven-ale), Raloc (rah-lock)
- Pointy Hat - a pointy cloth hat, either with no brim or just a thin brim - put it on and you (and hat and clothes) shink down to "borrower" size - take the hat off and you (and hat and clothes) return to normal size
- Vest with Ribs - a black vest with white embroidered ribs wrapping around like real ribs - ???TBD magical effect???
- Magic Horseshoes - horseshoes that enable a horse to run across water, or just straight across the sky, or to jump really far
- Magic Weaving - weaving natural fiber textiles in a magical way that makes them fireproof
- New Stars - a type of fae that gets ahold of high-quality gemstones (usually by stealing them) and uses their magic to raise them into the night sky as new stars - this is just how stars work here, they all started as gemstones and are different colors and sizes - this is like, a form of art for this culture
- Resurrection with Ivy Crown - place an enchanted wreath of ivy on the head of a corpse, it takes root and reanimates the body as an undead - if done promptly, much of the memory and personality can be saved - this undead is cool to the touch, moss grows inside its nose, it drinks a lot of water and stands outside in the rain, not physically active, its insides are turning steadily green which gives it a greenish-cast of skin

- Rotary Shelving - a bookshelf where you pull down on it and more comes into view from beyond the ceiling while the lower shelves disappear past the floor, and it eventually all circles back around - for a bureaucracy or reference location
- Pick-Your-Own Apothecary - at a convenient distance from the city, you can browse and pick your own magical ingredients in these gardens and greenhouses
- Alternative Keys - doorknobs that will only turn if you're wearing a matched bracelet or ring (a metal item that encircles your skin)
- Magic Swedish Fish - everyday magic where school teachers will add magic Swedish Fish (which actually swim around) to the school dance punch bowl - if alcohol is added to the punch, it kills the fish and they float on top belly-up
- Gobble Candy - a piece of candy in a classic twist-wrapper (like taffy) that looks innocuous, but will eat the other candies in your stash when nobody is looking - it doesn't eat more than one a day - since it is not alive, it can "survive" a long time without eating at all
